Summer memory

The Summer I Was 6

Long, hot, filled with laughter
Summer days spent with ones I love
Days by the pool
A pool filled with crisp, clear, refreshing water

Me, my sister, and our every day routine
11 a.m. begging to go next door
Sunscreen freshly applied
Towels wrapped around us like capes

Spending the day splashing, laughing, and imagining
Pretending we were something magical
Mermaids, pirates, or deep sea divers
No rules to follow but to have fun

Minutes turn to hours
Our fingers and toes look like raisins
Grandma would yell with a smile on her face
“Get out of the pool!”

Inside we went to have a snack and re-energize
Singing every word to
“Man I feel Like A Women” by Shania Twain
Making a dance as we go

There comes a time when everything stops
The imagination dies, temperatures drop, and the pool is closed
Tomorrow brings a new beginning
We will do it all over again
Me, my sister, and our everyday routines

Life today

Well...life right now is alright, I'm not sure how to feel, because one of my friends just left for Finland on Monday so I'm a little upset about that but he said that he will fly me and my friend over there soon so I am excited for that. Also spring break is coming up so I am excited for that because I am going to Panama City Florida. I have never been there so it will be something new. I am going with like 6 of my friends. The only bad part about spring break is that my boyfriend is leaving to go into boot camp for the Coast Guard. He leaves 3 days after I do so I will not be there to say good bye, and I wont be able to talk to him after either because he gets like no communication with other people for at least a month. in a way I am kind of glad he is going at this time because I have so many other things that I need to concentrate on.
So softball has started..that takes up my life! I like it but it can really get under my skin too(its complicated to say the least). Since softball has started I no longer get to work, but only on weekends so my pay checks suck. With a small pay check it really limits me as to all of the things I get to do. Oh well I have a lot on my plate but I wouldn't have it any other way.

What I Would Do

If you make the choice to cheat on me you will pay,
Just remember I’m doing this because I LOVED you.
I would call you a liar because you said you never would.
I would hijack your 2008 rally red Mitsubishi Lancer,
Drive down dirt roads, through as many pot holes as possible as fast as I can.
Take a crow bar to the body to let go of my rage,
Key your seats with my initials so you never forget me,
Tear off your 17” expensive black rims and leave them to rust,
Punch out all your windows
Take a baseball bat to your new headlights,
Steal your touch screen radio, brand new amp, and your bangin’ subs.
I would return your car all desirably dirtied and beaten up,
Blaring nothing but your favorite country music.
Once you see what I have done you will wish you were dead,
If you knew me at all, you’d know I’m not done
You won’t want to see it up close but you won’t have a choice,
I will lure you out of your house with a trail of Swedish fish,
I will tie you up and make you watch
As I pour your oh-so-adored Monster Energy all over the ground,
You watch with tears in your eyes,
I will spray paint your car your favorite poker hand
Black Jack of spades Red two of hearts
Just to let you know how dumb it really is!
Standing there Awe-Struck that a girl like me could do so much impairment
I will take off those fancy new tires; put them in a nice neat pile,
Take your newly found cigarette lighter
And show how bad smoking really is
I will light your tires on fire with a wicked smile on my face.
Just when you think I’m done,
“Oh Baby wait…I made you dinner.”
It’s your favorite, Seafood surprise.
You did this to yourself
You ruined something amazing
Have a good life alone and miserable
Because you will never meet anyone quite like me

THoughts from the picture with the Girl

This girl looks like something out of a horror film. I do not like horror movies so to me this picture bugs me. It is freaky because she looks possessed. I don't really know what to say other then this picture really bothers me because it reminds me of a scary movie. She looks like the girl who has been murdered and or is about to get killed, She seems like she would be a innocent girl based on her clothes but that would fit perfectly into a horror movie. I do not like that kind of movie because i can not stand being scared. I watched scary movies when I was little and they gave me nightmares and one time i didn't sleep for like a week. That right there turned me off for scary movies ever since.

Thoughts from The grass land

The first thought that popped into my head was Ireland. I went there when I was 14 years old for a People to People Student Ambassadors trip. Ireland was so green and very farm like. I thought it was a relaxing place to be and I remember doing all sorts of fun things over there. I spent the day on an Irish farm doing things that they have to do. One of my favorite things that we did that day was when we jumped into a bog. I don't really remember what a bog is but it was like this huge mud hole with a mini cliff that we got to jump off of. After you jump where you land is where you stayed. You were literally stuck. It was one thing that I will never forget. I know that if given the chance to do it all again, I would do it in a heart beat. In the picture the sky is so rich in different shades of blue that it reminds me of the Sky's over there (in Ireland) as well. I remember driving in our tour bus and looking out over the horizon and thinking that I wish we had Sky's like this back home. They were so beautiful. Something I have never seen before, so crisp and clear. I know to me they were breath taking because I had never seen anything like it before. And then again just being over there made everything that much more amazing.
